The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
East fails in his attempt to clinch.

East has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from East there as he acknowledges the shot.

No joy there for Wurds, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
East seems to have recovered his senses.

The fight stays on the outside here - East looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Wurds bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wurds lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Wurds works to advance to full mount. East defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Wurds postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt East bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Wurds and the fight is over!
