Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elbrys Gora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Firco Nowack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gora's entrance music is Cadillac Records - Howlin' Wolf Sings . A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nowack dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gora. That did some damage!
Gora blocks the body kick.
Gora circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gora ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Nowack bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Gora closes the distance and clinches up with Nowack, looking for a takedown. Gora pushes Nowack against the cage but Nowack circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Gora displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nowack throws out the jab.
Gora swats away the attempt to clinch by Nowack.
Gora shoots in but no luck this time.
Gora tries to keep at a distance but Nowack has taken the fight into the clinch.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nowack just misses with a elbow thrown towards Gora's brow.

Nowack swings wildly with an uppercut but Gora uses good head movement to avoid it.

Gora's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nowack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gora.

That was a close round but I would say that Elbrys Gora will probably get the nod.

Nowack walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Gora checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gora ducks right into an uppercut from Nowack.

Nowack is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gora.

Elbrys Gora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gora accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Gora is looking for a kimura but Nowack is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gora to get the leverage.

Gora tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nowack knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Gora uses his free foot to push down on Nowack's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Nowack.

Gora shoots in looking for a takedown. Nowack tries to sprawl out of it but Gora keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nowack manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The fight stays on the outside here - Nowack looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gora throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Gora has control of Nowack's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Nowack regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Gora wants to control the pace but Nowack is squirming around nicely.
Elbrys Gora is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Gora tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Nowack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gora. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gora misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gora, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
