Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sami Sykloni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hektor Troy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sykloni's entrance music is David Arkenstone - Carrickfergus. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sykloni throws a nice looking combination but Troy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Troy slips a jab and a cross from Sykloni.
Sykloni throws a jab but it's blocked by Troy.
Sykloni ducks under a wild hook from Troy.
Troy takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Troy blocks a head kick by Sykloni.

Sykloni is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Troy is just riding it out for now. Sykloni eventually gives up the hold.
Troy is refusing to be controlled, as Sykloni sits in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Troy is staying active underneath Sykloni, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Sykloni shoots for a takedown but Troy saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Troy is looking to chop away at Sykloni's legs.
The fighters circling - Troy throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Sykloni throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Troy's waist but Troy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sykloni off to one side.

Troy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sykloni.

Troy lands with an uppercut that bounces Sykloni off the cage and back into range.

Some bone on bone action there as Sykloni checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sykloni fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Troy to the ground. Sykloni is now in Troy's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Troy is on top in guard.

Troy takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sykloni lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
