Denke has chosen Runnin With The Devil as his entrance music. Karl Denke has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jax Teller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jax Teller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Denke!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Denke was well out of range. Poor timing from Teller.
A nice inside leg kick there by Denke. That's going to slow Teller down.
Teller moves out of range of the body kick from Denke.
Teller tried to score with a low kick but Denke checks it.
Denke swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Teller counters with a nice leg kick.
Teller throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Nice defenses there by Teller.
The fighters circling - Denke throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Denke throws a half hearted mid kick.
Teller has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Denke throws a body kick that misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Denke scores with a sloppy right hand. Teller should have avoided that one.

Teller gets caught flat footed, as Denke shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Teller looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Teller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Teller has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Denke has passed into side control.

Teller dodges the ground and pound from Denke.
Teller tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
A lull in the action here.
Denke scores with punches to the body.
Denke is striking well from the back but Teller escapes and manages to control the positon and works his way to half guard. A much better position - the crisis is over for the time being.
Denke trying to control the action but Teller is working from the bottom.
Teller is pressing down on Denke's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Denke trying to control the position from guard on top but Teller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Teller wants to get back to his feet but Denke is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Teller utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Teller wants to sweep but no luck.
Teller is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Denke trying to control the position from guard on top but Teller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Denke is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Karl Denke.

Denke is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Teller's half guard.
Teller has hold of Denke's hands but Denke slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Denke prevents Teller from improving his position.
Teller is staying active underneath Denke, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Teller keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Teller blocking the ground and pound attempt from Denke.
Denke throwing shots but Teller is blocking nicely.
Denke slows the pace down in half guard.
Teller controlling the position for now.
Denke seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Teller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Teller connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Denke's hands.

Teller throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Denke sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Denke with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A low kick from Denke is predictable there
and Teller counters with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Teller throws a big shot that misses.
The fighters circling - Teller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Denke uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Teller.
Teller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Denke swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Teller tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Denke moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Denke staying out of range there.
Teller ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jax Teller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Denke closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karl Denke dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Denke tries to work over Teller's front leg with a kick but Teller checks it.
Denke looks to score with a jab to the body but Teller is just out of range.
Teller connects with a jab.
Denke takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Denke takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Teller lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Teller lands a leg kick that knocks Denke off balance momentarily.
Denke scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Teller doesn't seem bothered though.

Teller drives through and clinches with Denke against the cage.

Teller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A looping hook to the body misses from Denke. Teller does a little dance to reset his feet.
Denke with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Teller gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Teller thows a leg kick but Denke checks it

and Denke counters with a shoot takedown. Teller fights it but they end up in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Teller keeping moving, preventing Denke from controlling successfully.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Denke's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Teller wants to stand and escape but Denke is having none of it.
Teller wants to sweep here but Denke controlling him for the moment.
Teller is working hard here to advance position.
Teller is looking to stand up but Denke isn't so interested in that idea.
Denke forces his way into half guard.
Teller wants to get back to full guard.
Denke is nestled in close to Teller, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Teller is looking for a sweep. Denke is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Denke trying to control the action but Teller is working from the bottom.
Teller is in trouble now - Denke has advanced to mount!
Denke scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Teller?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Denke has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Teller's face.
Denke throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Teller because Denke loaded up on that one.

Teller is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Denke looking to control and managing it successfully.
Denke trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Denke breaks from Teller's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Teller tries to lock up and control but Denke gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Denke landing strikes from the mount and Teller is in trouble!

Denke content just to control the position here.
Oh Teller is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Denke seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Teller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Teller seems to have got his legs back now.

Denke thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Teller's head.
Denke with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Teller tries to get to full guard but Denke has control of the leg.
Denke tries to pass the half guard into mount. Teller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Denke is stalling here. Teller is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Denke seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Teller has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The strikes coming from Teller are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Denke tries to improve position but can't.

Teller misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Denke is trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Karl Denke showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Denke takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Teller fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Teller blocks a head kick by Denke.
Teller throws a hook but Denke blocks it.
Denke throws a leg kick but Teller checks it.
Denke takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Denke tried to score with a low kick but Teller checks it.
Denke scores with a shot to the body.

Denke manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Teller on his heels. He'll look to pass Teller's guard now, I'm sure.

Teller is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Teller throws an elbow but it misses.

Denke lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Denke is trying to break the clinch but Teller has him pressed against the cage.
Denke is working Teller over against the cage.

Denke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Teller misses with a body kick.
Denke throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Teller.
Teller scores with a hook to the body. Denke takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Denke fails to land the takedown.
Teller swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Denke.
Teller tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Denke counters with a two punch combo.

Teller moves out of range of the strikes.
Denke thumps Teller with a low kick.

A solid leg kick lands there for Teller.
Denke misses the shot to the body.
Teller misses with a wild body shot.
Denke throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Teller.
A chopping leg kick lands by Denke.
Denke pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Teller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Teller fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Teller fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Denke.
A nice leg kick lands there from Teller.
Teller darts in trying to clinch
and Denke counters with a flying knee. Nice.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Teller lands a nice looking kick to the body. Denke takes a step back to recover.
Teller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Denke swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Teller plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Jax Teller has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The fighters circle momentarily. Teller darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Denke fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Teller has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Teller pushes Denke up against the cage in a clinch.

Denke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Denke throws a sloppy head kick and Teller moves out of range easily.
Denke fails to land the takedown.
Jax Teller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karl Denke.
Denke misses with a body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Teller throws a looping overhand right but Denke ducks down to avoid it.

Teller has taken the fight to the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Teller tries to circle away but Denke has him pinned against the cage.
Teller scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Denke blocks an elbow strike from Teller.
Denke wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Denke.
Nice elbow from Teller.


It looks like Karl Denke has been cut.
Teller is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Denke is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Teller can't fight it off and eventually Denke manages to take the fight to the floor. Teller looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

I would just about give that final round to Karl Denke.
I've got Denke winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
