The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joon will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Joon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Linna lets loose with a powerful body kick. Joon will feel that in the morning.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Linna is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Joon flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Joon is out cold! Linna holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Samppa Linna!
After winning the bout, Samppa Linna thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
