Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Benton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benton comes to the cage accompanied by Shed Seven - Bully Boy. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vincent Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Hunter, right into the meat.
Hunter throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Benton throws the kick towards the body but Hunter avoids it.
Benton misses with a leg kick
and Benton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Glenn Benton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hunter lands a head kick. Benton smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Benton wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

and Hunter counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Benton thinking.
Hunter shoots in but Benton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hunter lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Benton backs up against the cage.
Nice defenses there by Hunter.

Benton does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and Benton counters with a crisp one two that drops Hunter! Benton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Hunter to his feet! Hunter is in big trouble!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hunter with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Benton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Benton misses with an uppercut. Hunter saw that one coming.

Benton walks straight into a right hand from Hunter - that's dropped him! Hunter jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Benton from any more punishment! Benton complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
