Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jethro Tully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelly Haynes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nelly Haynes acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jethro Tully!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nelly Haynes!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Haynes looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Tully is trying to get back to full guard.
Haynes throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Haynes working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Tully is defending against the submission attempts here by Haynes.
Haynes is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Haynes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tully does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Haynes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tully defends it well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Haynes scoring with strikes to the body and head.

Tully tries to kick Haynes off but Haynes keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Tully is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Haynes pulls his head out easily.

Tully has hold of Haynes's hands but Haynes slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Haynes scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Haynes trying to mount his opponent but Tully defends it.
Haynes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tully keeps working.
Haynes not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Haynes lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Tully is looking to improve his position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Haynes is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tully sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Haynes is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ground and pound from Haynes.
Haynes prevents Tully from improving his position.
Tully regains full guard. Nicely done.
Haynes postures up.
Haynes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Haynes throws a big elbow that misses.
Haynes throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Haynes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tully dives on top into guard.

Haynes is trying to keep Tully in close.
Tully is fighting to break Haynes's control of his arms but Haynes is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Tully knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haynes on the ground.
Haynes keeping moving, preventing Tully from controlling successfully.
Haynes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tully won't allow Haynes to sweep him here.

Haynes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Tully defends it easily.
Tully is stalling in the full guard.
Tully trying to control but Haynes is working from the bottom.

We're going to have a standup here because Jethro Tully wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Haynes gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Haynes lands a nice short elbow.

Haynes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tully defends it well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Haynes thows a huge punch but Tully dodges it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nelly Haynes dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Haynes gets a double leg takedown into Tully's guard.
Haynes makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Haynes stands up over Tully, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Nelly Haynes has got the better of the ground game so far.
Tully wants to stand but Haynes is controlling the position.
Tully is trying to keep Haynes in close.
Tully wants to sweep here but Haynes controlling him for the moment.
Haynes trying to control but Tully is working from the bottom.
Haynes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Haynes chips away with some ground and pound.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Haynes lands a couple of elbows.
Haynes keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Tully's head.

Tully avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Haynes working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Tully is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Haynes is controlling him.
Haynes cracks Tully with a solid left hand.
Haynes postures up in Tully's guard and throws a big left but Tully blocks it.
Haynes postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Haynes with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.


Tully is rocked!
Haynes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tully's head.
Oh Tully is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Haynes works over Tully with some ground and pound from guard.
Haynes has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Haynes landing some decent shots from guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Haynes arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Tully's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nelly Haynes!
