PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Dingleberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Drabek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingleberry comes to the cage accompanied by PANTERA - F*CKING HOSTILE. Drabek has chosen Imagine as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Drabek has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dick Dingleberry!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jeff Drabek!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingleberry fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drabek manages to avoid it.
Drabek looks winded!
Dingleberry lands with a thumping leg kick.
Drabek misses the shot to the body.
Dingleberry lands with an overhand left.
Dingleberry scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Dingleberry throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


It looks like Jeff Drabek has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dingleberry takes the fight into the clinch.

Dingleberry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Dingleberry ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dingleberry fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good standup being displayed there by Dingleberry as he connects with a hook.
Dingleberry connects with a single shot there.

Dingleberry cracks the inside of Drabek's front leg.
Nice uppercut lands for Dingleberry. That snapped Drabek's head back.


Drabek is rocked!

Dingleberry fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Drabek, pushing him back against the cage.
Drabek is still on wobbly legs! Can Dingleberry finish him?

Dingleberry gets control of Drabek's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dingleberry will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Dingleberry bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Drabek's guard.
Dingleberry slips nicely into half guard.
Drabek seems to have recovered his senses.

Dingleberry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Dingleberry looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Drabek with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dingleberry is nestled in close to Drabek, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Drabek is looking to control Dingleberry's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Drabek avoid being mounted?

Dingleberry lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Dingleberry working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dingleberry looking to control but Drabek is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Drabek walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Dingleberry moves in looking to clinch but Drabek pushes him off.
Dingleberry connects with a looping right hand.
The fighters circle, before Dingleberry throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Drabek's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Dingleberry lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Dick Dingleberry!
Dick Dingleberry is the new super heavyweight champion!
Dick Dingleberry bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
