Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dat Sik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malvin Maldi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maldi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Loituma TECHNO!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 12 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dat Sik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

38 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Malvin Maldi!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maldi lands with a nice body punch.
Maldi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A chopping leg kick lands by Sik.
Sik throws a lazy uppercut
and Maldi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sik moves away from the strike by Maldi.
Sik stuffs the takedown attempt from Maldi. Maldi gets slowly back to his feet.
Maldi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Maldi lands with an uppercut that bounces Sik off the cage and back into range.
Maldi misses the jab.
Maldi throws a lazy right hand but Sik sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sik scores with a jab. Maldi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Malvin Maldi has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Maldi tries to clinch up.
Sik throws a front kick aimed at Maldi's knee but Maldi avoids it well.
Maldi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sik.
Sik lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Maldi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sik moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sik punishes Maldi's body with a nice straight punch.
Sik dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Maldi. That did some damage!
Maldi throws a shot from downtown. Sik moves away and avoids it.
The fighters circling - Sik throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Malvin Maldi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sik fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Maldi checks it well.
Maldi swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sik misses with a body shot.
Sik wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A big right from Maldi misses.
Maldi moves to clinch but Sik breaks away
and Sik counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sik throws a sloppy head kick and Maldi moves out of range easily.
Sik has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Sik there as he acknowledges the shot.
Maldi moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sik lands a left hand.
Maldi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Maldi misses with a punch to the body.
Maldi tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Sik tries to break the clinch but Maldi is controlling the position.
Maldi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Sik's elbow.
Sik lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Maldi backwards.
Maldi lands a body shot in the clinch.
Maldi works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Maldi has a couple of punches blocked by Sik.
Sik throws a punch but it's blocked by Maldi.
Maldi scores with a hook to the body.
Maldi goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Maldi.
Sik lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Still in the clinch, Sik scores with a nice short uppercut.
Sik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A slow jab from Sik misses its intended target.
Maldi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Maldi lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Maldi throwing strikes from guard but Sik blocks nicely.

Maldi scoring with some ground and pound.
Sik manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Maldi manages to get himself to full guard.
Maldi controls Sik momentarily but Sik frees himself.
Sik wants to control from the top but Maldi keeps moving.
Maldi looking for subs off his back but Sik has passed one foot through into half guard.
Sik seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Maldi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Maldi trying to hold on to Sik's head to control him but Sik postures up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fighters are battling for position here. Maldi manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Maldi pulls Sik in close to prevent any damage.
Sik trying to control but Maldi is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dat Sik will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Malvin Maldi's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Maldi throws out a leg kick but Sik moves out of range and Maldi only half commits.
Sik misses with a right hand
letting Maldi counter with a right hand.
Dat Sik is winning the standup battle so far.
Maldi lands with a shot to the body.
Sik lands a leg kick that knocks Maldi off balance momentarily.
Maldi jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Maldi lands a nice shot that snaps Sik's head back.
Sik throws a head kick but Maldi moves out of range.
Maldi misses with an uppercut
and Sik counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Maldi misses with a body kick.
Sik ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
An inside leg kick from Sik misses.
Sik walks into a straight right hand from Maldi.

Maldi cracks Sik with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sik is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
The fighters circle momentarily. Sik darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Maldi throws a low kick but Sik moves out of range easily.
Maldi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Sik avoids the body shot from Maldi.

Sik fails to land with a series of punches.
Sik is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Sik fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Maldi manages to avoid it.
Sik goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Maldi is still on wobbly legs! Can Sik finish him?
Sik with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Maldi to score with a decent uppercut.

Malvin Maldi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Maldi lands with a cross.
Maldi seems to have recovered his senses.
Maldi takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sik drops his hands momentarily and Maldi takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Maldi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sik as he avoids it easily.
Maldi is looking to slow Sik down with leg kicks.
Sik throws a powerful right kick. Maldi tried to block low but the kick was high! Maldi was taken right off of his feet! Sik jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dat Sik!
Dat Sik really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Reaper Combatwear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
