Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dynamite Nixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greco Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nixon's entrance music is Fear is Our Tradition by Ignite. A fine choice. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Greco Roman enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon misses with a hook. Roman ducked under it nicely.
Nixon defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Roman.
Nixon looks to throw the jab but Roman is out of range.

Roman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nixon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Roman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nixon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roman has managed to get both his arms back between Nixon's legs - danger averted.

Nixon isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Roman stacks Nixon on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Roman!
Nixon is working to avoid the ground and pound but Roman connects with a decent elbow.

Roman is looking to take a break and control but Nixon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Roman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Roman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Nixon takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Nixon is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Roman. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Dynamite Nixon tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
