Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Coke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gunnar Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Bruno Hogan and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses the shot to the body.
Coke throws a head kick that half lands.
Coke is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
Coke lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coke as he avoids it easily.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Coke paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jackson misses with the combination.
Jackson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Danga de danga de dang - Jackson scores with a four punch combination!
Coke moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.
Coke scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Jackson misses with a low kick.
That kick from Jackson tenderised Coke's leg. Coke is trying to keep his angry face on.
Coke misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jackson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Coke sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ryan Coke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gunnar Jackson.
Coke connects with a body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Coke moves in looking to clinch but Jackson pushes him off.
Coke keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A head kick misses from Coke.
Jackson throws a half hearted mid kick.
Coke doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Coke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Coke digs a right hand underneath Jackson's ribcage. Jackson let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Coke has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jackson is trying to keep an underhook but Coke manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Coke trying to pass the guard but Jackson defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Coke tries to stand and escape but Jackson is controlling the position.

Jackson actively working from the bottom here.
Jackson is staying active underneath Coke, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Coke trying to control from Jackson's half guard. Jackson has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jackson has his foot on Coke's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coke works his way back into a safe position though.

Jackson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coke can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jackson pushes a forearm under Coke's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Coke is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Gunnar Jackson!
