Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Andersson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Garnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Garnett has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Andersson.
Garnett gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Andersson throws a nice looking combination but Garnett bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Garnett swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Garnett counters with a straight right hand.

Garnett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Andersson moves away.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Andersson, as that shot connected.

Andersson cracks Garnett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Garnett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Garnett on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Andersson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Garnett has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Garnett and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Andersson is looking to clinch.
Garnett scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Garnett misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Andersson takes a swing at Garnett's ribcage but misses.

and Andersson counters with a nice low kick that buckles Garnett's knee momentarily.

Andersson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Garnett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Andersson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Andersson moves in looking to clinch but Garnett pushes him off.
Andersson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Garnett. Garnett circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Andersson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That kick from Andersson tenderised Garnett's leg. Garnett is trying to keep his angry face on.

Garnett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Andersson.
Andersson lands with a straight right. Garnett didn't see that one coming.
Garnett throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Garnett drops his hands momentarily and Andersson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Garnett throws a jab but it's blocked by Andersson.

Garnett takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Andersson misses with a kick to the body.

Garnett throws a lazy right hand but Andersson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Andersson tried to score with a low kick but Garnett checks it.
Garnett lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Andersson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Garnett counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Andersson thinking.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Garnett feints with a jab and clips Andersson right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Andersson is sent crashing into the canvas and Garnett leaps in for the kill! Andersson tries to get to his feet but Garnett is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Andersson is in need of a savior and steps in!

After winning the bout, Kevin Garnett thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
