Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Birdman Lugz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ange Fili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ange Fili told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Fili. No joy for Lugz on that attempt.
Lugz avoids the head kick by Fili.
Fili turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Lugz clinches up against the cage.
Fili throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fili misses with an elbow over the top.
Fili misses with a knee to the head.
Fili scores a nice knee to the body.
Fili using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lugz has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Fili pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Fili gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Birdman Lugz has been cut.
Fili lands an elbow that stopped Lugz in his tracks for a moment.

Fili lands with a short shot to the head.

Fili lands a damaging elbow.
Oh Lugz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fili has Lugz pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Lugz is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Fili - that's hurt Lugz badly! Oh, another knee lands and Lugz is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Lugz doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Ange Fili!
