Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martez Cortega!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alan Pitbull!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortega throws a series of punches but Pitbull avoids them all with ease.
Cortega swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Pitbull moves into the clinch.

Cortega manages to break the clinch.
Cortega swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Pitbull is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pitbull fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cortega falls off balance throwing a combination

and Pitbull counters by clinching up.
Cortega tries to break free but Pitbull pushes him back against the cage.
Cortega gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pitbull.
Pitbull tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cortega just stands there and leans against the cage.
Martez Cortega has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Pitbull.
Cortega gets underhooks to prevent Pitbull's takedown attempt.
Cortega is struggling to control the position.
Pitbull has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cortega is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Cortega breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cortega displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pitbull.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cortega grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Pitbull takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Cortega cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
