The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nate throws a lazy right hand but Spartacus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
No luck for Nate with that takedown attempt.
A telegraphed right hand from Nate misses the target.
Nate fails with an attempt to clinch.
Spartacus scores with a shot to the body.
Nate comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nate will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Spartacus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nate. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
You can see the frustration on Spartacus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Nate throws an elbow but Spartacus slips to the side and avoids it well.
Nate works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Nate has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Nate is putting a hurting on Spartacus here, landing some big shots from side control.
Spartacus takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
