The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Metzger misses with a double jab
enabling Slevin to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Andreas Metzger has been cut.
Metzger closes the distance and clinches up with Slevin, looking for a takedown. Metzger pushes Slevin against the cage but Slevin circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Slevin misses with a hook.
Slevin misses the shot to the body.
Good shot there by Slevin.
Metzger shoots for a double leg takedown but Slevin sprawls well. He's pushed Metzger's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No joy there for Slevin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Metzger uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Slevin.

Slevin tries to clinch up.
Metzger tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Slevin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Slevin looks to throw the jab but Metzger is out of range.

Metzger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slevin's waist but Slevin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Metzger off to one side.
Tony Slevin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andreas Metzger.
Metzger takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Metzger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slevin's waist but Slevin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Metzger off to one side.

Slevin lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Slevin drops Metzger with a huge uppercut! Metzger drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Slevin is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
