Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Funk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Panzram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Panzram has chosen Thrash 'Till Death as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Funk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Panzram throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Funk.
Funk shoots in looking for a takedown. Panzram tries to sprawl out of it but Funk keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Panzram manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Panzram stuffs the takedown.
Panzram misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Panzram counters by moving into the clinch.

Panzram pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Funk closes the distance and clinches up with Panzram, looking for a takedown. Funk pushes Panzram against the cage but Panzram circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Funk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Panzram but Panzram pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Funk dives in and grabs Panzram's left leg, looking for a takedown. Panzram pushes down on Funk's head and hops out.
Panzram lands a right hook to the body.
Panzram looks to land a combination but Funk avoids it well.
Funk shoots in looking for a takedown but Panzram manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Funk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Funk is breathing heavily.

Panzram scores with a jab. Funk acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Carl Panzram seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Funk shoots in for a double leg but Panzram sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Funk takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Panzram lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Funk walks into a straight right hand from Panzram.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Panzram, right into the meat.
Funk on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Panzram scores with a decent looking hook.
Panzram throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Funk on the side of the head.

Funk is rocked!
Panzram scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Funk doesn't seem bothered though.
Oh Funk is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Panzram fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Panzram changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Panzram is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Funk rather than just go for the knockout.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Funk gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Panzram gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Funk is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
