Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bobby Roode!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joseph Mageramsky!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Winston Howard and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roode takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Roode gets caught napping as Mageramsky dives in and scores a takedown. Roode manages to retain guard.
Mageramsky tries to free his leg and advance position but Roode is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mageramsky postures up and lands a big shot to Roode's brow.
Mageramsky cracks Roode with a solid left hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Roode throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mageramsky distracts Roode with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mageramsky stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roode swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mageramsky scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Mageramsky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mageramsky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mageramsky content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Roode working for a triangle but Mageramsky defends it easily.
Roode trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Mageramsky landing some decent shots from guard.

Roode had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mageramsky defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Mageramsky's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Roode is trying to keep Mageramsky in close.
Roode has momentary wrist control but Mageramsky slips an elbow through the middle.
Mageramsky connects with a couple of short punches.


Roode is rocked!
Mageramsky stands and throws Roode's legs to the side, diving into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mageramsky landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Oh Roode is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mageramsky lands a strong strike to the head of Roode. That's dazed him! Mageramsky looking to finish here. Roode is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Mageramsky lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joseph Mageramsky!
During a confident post fight interview, Joseph Mageramsky thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
