Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davor Langerholc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan comes to the cage accompanied by Flight of the Valkyries. Langerholc is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hypocrisy - Reincarnation. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Daniel Bryan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Davor Langerholc!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bryan pushes Langerholc up against the cage in a clinch.
Langerholc is working for takedown but Bryan is calmly controlling the position for now.
Bryan tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Bryan is struggling to control the position.
Langerholc tries for a takedown. No joy.
Langerholc managing to block the knees to the body from Bryan.
The referee is keeping an eye on Bryan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Langerholc turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Langerholc manages to end up in side control.

Langerholc trying to control the action but Bryan is working from the bottom.

Bryan tries to bench press Langerholc off him but Langerholc keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Langerholc scores with a couple of short elbows.
Langerholc lands a few punches from side control.
Langerholc in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Langerholc wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bryan, who protects the arm well.
Bryan tries to buck Langerholc off but Langerholc is having none of it.
Langerholc trying to control the action but Bryan is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bryan is trying to get back to half guard.
Bryan is trying to work for a sweep but Langerholc has mounted him!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bryan is looking to improve his position but Langerholc isn't that keen on the idea.

Langerholc lands a big elbow.
Langerholc looking to control but Bryan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bryan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bryan is working hard here to advance position.

Bryan tries to reverse the position but Langerholc maintains control.

It looks like Daniel Bryan has been cut.
Langerholc looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Bryan is desperately trying to improve his position but Langerholc has a good base and remains in mount.
Langerholc trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bryan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Langerholc wants to control the pace but Bryan is squirming around nicely.
Langerholc is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bryan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Langerholc working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Bryan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Langerholc off and cradles Bryan's limp body as Langerholc celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Davor Langerholc!
