Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mak Frajd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Murat Orgun!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orgun tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Frajd manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Orgun darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Frajd throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Orgun.
Orgun's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Orgun duly obliges.
Frajd fails with a takedown attempt.
Orgun throws a low kick, looking for Frajd's leg but Frajd calmly moves out of range.
Frajd has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Orgun finds it's way round the side to connect with Frajd's head.
Frajd is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Orgun darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Frajd's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Orgun before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Murat Orgun!
Murat Orgun decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
