Barnes comes to the cage accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. Montros is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Going Under - Evanescence. Jason Montros acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montros checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Barnes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Montros.
Montros throws a jab but it's blocked by Barnes.
Barnes blocks a jab.
Barnes dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Montros lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Montros throws a left and a right that both miss
and Barnes counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Montros moves into range and clinches up with Barnes.
Montros wants to break free but Barnes has control.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Barnes.

It looks like Jason Montros has been cut.
Montros avoiding damage as Barnes throws knees to the body.

Montros's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Montros has a takedown stuffed.
Montros on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Barnes misses with a body shot.
Barnes lands a leg kick that knocks Montros off balance momentarily.
Barnes keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Montros.

Barnes lands a head kick that stumbles Montros and the fighters go to the mat.

Montros is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barnes loads up on a big left hand. Montros felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Barnes looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Montros can't hide his disappointment, as Barnes celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andre Barnes!
A relieved looking Andre Barnes thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
