The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tessin swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Tessin connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Tessin avoids a kick to the body.
Tessin misses with a hook. Eckstein ducked under it nicely.
Tessin is looking to clinch but Eckstein is avoiding it.
Tessin blocks a head kick by Eckstein.
Eckstein is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Tessin takes a swing at Eckstein's ribcage but misses.
Eckstein throws a nice outside leg kick.
Eckstein scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Eckstein 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Eckstein keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Eckstein ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tessin attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Tessin is looking to clinch but Eckstein is avoiding it.
Eckstein defending well as Tessin loads up on a big left hand.
Eckstein lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Tessin at a distance.
Tessin tries to clinch but Eckstein is having none of it.

and Eckstein counters with a thumping low kick.
Tessin sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Eckstein scores with a jab. Tessin acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Randy Tessin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tessin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Eckstein manages to avoid it.
Tessin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Eckstein was well out of range. Poor timing from Tessin.
A good leg kick by Eckstein.
Tessin looks winded!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Eckstein sends Tessin crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Eckstein is motioning to the referee to let Tessin up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Eckstein throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tessin is still on wobbly legs! Can Eckstein finish him?
Eckstein lands with a kick to the ribs.
Eckstein feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tessin's calf.
Eckstein connects with a leg kick. Tessin looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Tessin leaves his chin hanging out and Eckstein seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Tessin crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
