The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kyle fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Billet manages to avoid it.
Billet throws a nice outside leg kick.
Billet scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Kenric Kyle has been cut.
Kyle checks a leg kick.
Kyle comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Billet goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Billet looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kyle tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Billet was well out of range. Poor timing from Kyle.
Billet throws a shot from downtown. Kyle moves away and avoids it.

Billet drops his hands momentarily and Kyle takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Kyle sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

and Kyle counters with a nice double leg into guard.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Billet looking for a guillotine here but Kyle defends easily.
