Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michal Szubert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aldo Rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Szubert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aldo Rodrigo!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigo shoots in and bounces Szubert off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Szubert has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rodrigo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Szubert.
Rodrigo is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Rodrigo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Rodrigo looks up at the clock and then as Szubert takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rodrigo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Rodrigo tries to stand but Szubert is controlling his head.
Szubert is pushing Rodrigo's head away, looking to escape. Rodrigo manages to hold on to the position though.
Szubert tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Rodrigo presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Szubert is looking to get to half guard.
Szubert in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
It looks like Michal Szubert has been cut.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rodrigo is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Michal Szubert's cut is getting worse.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rodrigo is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Szubert is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Szubert flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Rodrigo anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Szubert and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Rodrigo slips an arm under Szubert chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Rodrigo has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Rodrigo is squeezing on Szubert like an anaconda would it's prey. Szubert fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Aldo Rodrigo!
