Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rogerio Cabral!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Freddy Krugerman!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Krugerman.
Krugerman lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Cabral throws a low kick but Krugerman avoids it.
Cabral misses with a low kick.
Krugerman lands a leg kick that knocks Cabral off balance momentarily.
Krugerman tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Krugerman uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cabral.
Cabral slips a jab from Krugerman.
Krugerman misses with a hook. Cabral ducked under it nicely.
Cabral takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Krugerman slips a jab from Cabral.
Krugerman lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Krugerman throws a hook but Cabral blocks it.
Krugerman sizes up Cabral with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Krugerman moves out of range of the body kick.
Cabral loads up on a big right hand but Krugerman slips the punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Krugerman defending well as Cabral loads up on a big left hand.
A lazy left from Krugerman finds it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Krugerman rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cabral counters with a nice double leg into side control. Krugerman won't be happy with that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Krugerman tries to bench press Cabral off him but Cabral keeps the position.
Cabral trying to control the action but Krugerman is working from the bottom.
Cabral working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Krugerman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cabral. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cabral misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Cabral sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Krugerman is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Cabral throws an elbow but Krugerman slips to the side and avoids it well.
Cabral is working Krugerman over with some ground and pound from side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cabral goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Krugerman rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Cabral's guard! Nice work there by Krugerman!
Krugerman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Cabral striking off his back but it's not causing Krugerman any problems.
Cabral has his foot on Krugerman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krugerman works his way back into a safe position though.

Krugerman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cabral swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cabral is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Krugerman rolls with it to try and escape but Cabral cranks on the arm and Krugerman is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Rogerio Cabral thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
