Axe decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The Ripper wants to improve his position but Axe is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Ripper has his foot on Axe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Axe works his way back into a safe position though.
The Ripper wants to sweep here but Axe controlling him for the moment.

The Ripper is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Axe has his hands clasped together but The Ripper extends an breaks Axe's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by The Ripper.
