Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Victor Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexi Kint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kint has chosen The supremes - Love child as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexi Kint!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kint throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. Kint didn't expect that.
Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Kint looking to hit a scissor sweep but Williams is one step ahead there.
Williams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kint works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kint stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kint wants it to stay on the feet.

Williams is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kint's half guard.

Williams wants to control from the top but Kint keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kint is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Williams is trying to escape back to his feet but Kint uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Kint has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Williams takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Williams swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Kint, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. Kint tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kint manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kint misses with a hook to the body
and Williams counters with a series of strikes. Kint will be more careful next time no doubt.

Williams looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kint is fending him off so far but Williams persists. Nope, Kint circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Williams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kint lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kint. That's going to slow Williams down.
Alexi Kint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but Kint sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Kint wants to stand and escape but Williams is having none of it.

Victor Williams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Williams is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kint dives into side control.
Williams pushes Kint away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Kint gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Let's hope that Kint has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Williams shoots in for a takedown but Kint shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kint lands a big right hand that sends Williams crashing to the mat! Kint stays standing though and waves Williams back to his feet!

Kint stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Williams shoots in looking for a takedown but Kint manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

I've got Kint winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Alexi Kint decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
