Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simon Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Deckard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by UFC: Closer to the Edge (Jared Leto). Deckard has chosen In Lust as his entrance music. The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams lands the left hand.
It looks like Rick Deckard has been cut.
Williams looks for the body kick but Deckard saw that one coming.
The crowd cheers as Williams lands an impressive looking overhand right. Deckard doesn't seem phased though.
Deckard drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Williams is pulling down on Deckard's head to control his posture.
Deckard tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Williams wants to sweep here but Deckard controlling him for the moment.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Deckard holds on and takes a little breather.

We're going to have a standup here because Simon Williams wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
No luck for Deckard with that takedown attempt.
Deckard throws a right and a left that both miss.
Deckard throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Williams looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Deckard takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Deckard throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good leg kick by Williams there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Deckard's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Williams connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Deckard scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Williams lands a big right hand that sends Deckard crashing to the mat! Williams stays standing though and waves Deckard back to his feet!
Deckard is rocked!
Deckard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Williams. That did some damage!
Deckard is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?

and Deckard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Deckard seems to have recovered his senses.

and Williams counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Deckard! He's just covering up as Williams starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
