Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Witten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Witten thuds his right hand into Gracie's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Witten avoids the body shot from Gracie.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie misses with an attempted mid kick.
Witten shoots in for a double leg but Gracie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Gracie feints and as Witten raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Witten preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Witten dives on top into guard.
Witten tries to free his leg and advance position but Gracie is retaining full guard.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Witten is aware though and is defending well.

Gracie working for a triangle but Witten defends it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gracie is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gracie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Witten on the ground.

Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Witten passes into side control.
Witten wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy.
Gracie might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Witten has an Americana. Gracie didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Witten is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Witten hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
