The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juan throws a leg kick which misses Jacobs's front leg but catches the back leg as Jacobs tries to avoid it.
Jacobs on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Juan. Juan obviously looking to wear him down.
Juan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jacobs tries for a takedown but Juan circles away easily

and Juan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jacobs's guard now.
Juan advances to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Juan moves into full mount! Jacobs won't be happy about that!
Juan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Jacobs is trying to escape the mount but Juan keeps good control and instead manages to take Jacobs's back.

Jacobs looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Juan keeps control of the position as Jacobs tries to break free.
