Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jari Mountain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mountain has chosen kuningas as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rocky Balboa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jari Mountain!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mountain lands a body shot.

Balboa lands a left and a right that send Mountain crashing to the mat, dazed. Balboa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


It looks like Jari Mountain has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mountain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A combination from Mountain does no damage.
Balboa tries to close the distance and clinch but Mountain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Balboa misses with a hook. Mountain ducked under it nicely.
Mountain throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Mountain thumps Balboa with a low kick.

Balboa tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mountain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Mountain tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Mountain scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
That kick from Mountain tenderised Balboa's leg. Balboa is trying to keep his angry face on.

Mountain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Balboa.

Mountain throws a front kick that sends Balboa stumbling back into the cage.

A nice inside leg kick there by Mountain. That's going to slow Balboa down.

Balboa is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
A lazy left from Mountain finds it's target.

Mountain lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Balboa lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mountain circles away quickly and effectively.

Balboa with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Mountain to score with a decent uppercut.
Mountain throws a leg kick which misses Balboa's front leg but catches the back leg as Balboa tries to avoid it.

Mountain jabs Balboa to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Balboa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Balboa seems to have got his legs back now.
Balboa on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Mountain moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Horrible takedown by Balboa or perhaps it was just good defense by Mountain which made him look bad.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Balboa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Balboa gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Balboa looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Mountain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Mountain wants it to stay on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Balboa. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Mountain fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Balboa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A jab lands there for Mountain.

Oooooh!!! Mountain has knocked Balboa down with a huge combo! Mountain steps away and waves a wobbly Balboa back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The fighters circle, before Mountain throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Balboa's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mountain lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Jari Mountain!
A very excited looking Jari Mountain made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
