Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Austin Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Microscopic Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt has chosen Bad to The Bone as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Austin Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 3, fighting out of London, Microscopic Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt misses with a looping right.
Williams steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hunt.
Hunt throws a hook but Williams blocks it.
Williams has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Beast in the buildup to the fight.
Williams lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
A cross from Hunt lands.
Hunt attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Williams connects with a jab.
Williams ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunt moves away.
Hunt on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Williams avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Williams gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Williams jabs Hunt to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hunt misses with a leg kick
and Williams makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Williams looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Hunt!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hunt takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hunt tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Williams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Hunt working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Williams doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Williams manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hunt is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Hunt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Williams has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hunt looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Williams working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Hunt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hunt is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Williams.

Williams thows a left - swing and a miss!
Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hunt as he avoids it easily.
Williams's corner calls for a 1-2. Williams obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Williams throws an overhand right that lands on Hunt's shoulder, as Hunt tries to avoid the shot.
Hunt shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hunt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hunt scores with a decent looking hook.
Hunt tries to land a front kick but Williams steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Williams getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Hunt shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Hunt throws a leg kick but Williams sees it coming and moves out of range.
Austin Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams cracks Hunt with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Williams misses with a few strikes there.
Williams misses the jab.
Hunt takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Microscopic Hunt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Williams swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hunt throws a leg kick but Williams moved away.
Williams throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Left hook, right uppercut from Williams.
Hunt takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Williams misses with a kick to the body.
Williams takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hunt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Williams lands with a thumping leg kick.

Williams jabs at Hunt's body.
Hunt ducks under a wild hook from Williams.
Williams lands a lovely overhand right.
Austin Williams is winning the standup battle so far.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A chopping leg kick lands by Williams.
Williams pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Hunt gets caught napping as Williams dives in and scores a takedown. Hunt manages to retain guard.
Hunt wants to sweep but no luck.

Hunt is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Williams postures up in Hunt's guard and throws a big left but Hunt blocks it.
Williams in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Williams throws a big elbow that misses.
Hunt is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Williams is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hunt pulls his head out easily.

Williams is looking for a sweep. Hunt is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Hunt wants to take a breather but Williams is having none of it.
Austin Williams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Williams is looking to control Hunt's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Williams avoid being mounted?
Hunt is trying to control the action in half guard but Williams is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Williams tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hunt wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hunt is looking to take a break and control but Williams is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Austin Williams will probably get the nod.

Williams feints and as Hunt raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Williams won't allow Hunt to sweep him here.

Williams throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hunt works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Williams wants to control from the top but Hunt keeps moving.

Williams got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunt has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Williams has managed to get both his arms back between Hunt's legs - danger averted.

Williams lands strikes from half guard.

Hunt wants to control but Williams is keeping busy.
Hunt is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Williams throwing shots but Hunt is blocking nicely.

Williams seems to be working for a kimura but Hunt defends the submission attempt.

The referee warns Hunt that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunt is rocked!
Hunt has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Williams postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Hunt bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Williams and the fight is over!
