The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattos throws a hook to the side of Trendell's head but Trendell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A slow jab from Mattos misses its intended target.
Mattos lands a glancing blow to the side of Trendell's head.
Mattos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trendell manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Trendell.
Trendell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Mattos .
Trendell slips a jab from Mattos .
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mattos checks a leg kick.
Mattos looks to throw the jab but Trendell is out of range.
Mattos throws a right hand that misses

and Trendell counters with a head kick that drops Mattos to the mat! Mattos scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mattos is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mattos misses the body punch
and Trendell counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Trendell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mattos 's calf.
Mattos throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Trendell circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Mattos drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Trendell follows Mattos to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
