Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Graham Elliott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Callaghan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Graham Elliott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sean Callaghan!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Callaghan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Elliott as he jumps to the side.
Elliott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Callaghan is fending him off so far but Elliott persists. Nope, Callaghan circles away and we're back to standing.
Elliott shoots in for a takedown but Callaghan shows good takedown defense.
No joy there for Callaghan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Horrible takedown by Elliott or perhaps it was just good defense by Callaghan which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Graham Elliott. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Callaghan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Elliott shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Callaghan as he avoids it easily.

Elliott shoots in looking for a takedown but Callaghan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Elliott's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Callaghan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Elliott tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Callaghan is in Elliott's guard.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Callaghan wants to control from the top but Elliott keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sean Callaghan wasn't active enough on the ground.

Elliott darts in and clinches Callaghan up against the ropes.

Elliott breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Elliott scores with a crisp jab that stopped Callaghan in his tracks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Elliott rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Callaghan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Elliott shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Callaghan sprawls well. Callaghan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Elliott gets slowly back to his feet.

Elliott stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Elliott wants it to stay on the feet.
Callaghan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Callaghan tries to close the distance and clinch but Elliott swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Callaghan gets tackled into the ropes by Elliott. Elliott maintains the clinch.
Callaghan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Elliott pulls his leg out and moves away.
Callaghan misses with a wild body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Elliott changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Callaghan tries to avoid it but Elliott manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Callaghan to the ground. Callaghan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Callaghan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Elliott swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Elliott blocks a head kick by Callaghan.
Elliott moves out of range of the body kick.
Callaghan avoids the head kick by Elliott.

Elliott misses with a takedown attempt - Callaghan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Callaghan.

Elliott tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Callaghan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Elliott's guard.
Callaghan takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Callaghan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Elliott keeps working.
Callaghan works his way into full mount!

Callaghan is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Callaghan!
