Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Edgar Cooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Clack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eric Edgar Cooke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Clack!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Cooke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clack.
Clack tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Cooke is able to avoid easily.
Clack shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cooke as he jumps to the side.

Clack shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cooke manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Clack postures up in Cooke's guard and throws a big left but Cooke blocks it.
Clack passes into half guard.

Cooke actively working from the bottom here.

Clack moves into full mount! Cooke won't be happy about that!
Clack cracks Cooke with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Clack lands with some strikes.
Cooke is trying desperately to improve position.

Clack really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cooke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Clack seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cooke does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Clack is controlling the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kenny Clack hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Clack.

Cooke could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Clack motions for Cooke to come forward. Clack throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Clack tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cooke sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Clack somewhat.
Clack fails in his attempt to clinch.

Clack pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clack closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cooke circles away.
Clack tries a low kick but Cooke avoids it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Cooke tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cooke takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kenny Clack dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Clack has taken the fight to the clinch.
Clack stops a takedown attempt from Cooke.
Clack tries to throw a body punch but Cooke avoids it by throwing Clack back against the ropes.
Cooke tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cooke avoiding damage as Clack throws knees to the body.
Cooke avoids the elbow strike from Clack, against the ropes.
Clack's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Cooke tries to pull guard but Clack won't allow it.

Clack lands a damaging elbow.


It looks like Eric Edgar Cooke has been cut.

Clack is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Cooke can't fight it off and eventually Clack manages to take the fight to the floor. Cooke looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Clack controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kenny Clack.
Cooke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clack.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cooke uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clack.

Cooke slips under a jab from Clack.
Cooke defending well as Clack loads up on a big left hand.

Cooke moves out of range of the body kick.
Clack gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Cooke counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cooke.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kenny Clack showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Clack throws a leg kick but Cooke sees it coming and moves out of range.
Clack throws a lazy right hand but Cooke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Cooke gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Clack to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Cooke manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cooke is trying to control but can't.
Clack seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Clack wants to free his trapped foot but Cooke is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Clack is taking a breather. Cooke says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Clack takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Cooke is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Clack frees his head nicely. Oh but Cooke has switched to an armbar! Clack is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
