Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gronk Kowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Warren Worthington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kowski comes to the cage accompanied by Skillet - Monster. Gronk Kowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Warren Worthington!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kowski is defended easily by Worthington.
Worthington missing with a left hand there. Kowski was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Worthington scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Kowski shoots for a double leg takedown but Worthington sprawls well. He's pushed Kowski's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gronk Kowski. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kowski closes the distance and clinches up with Worthington, looking for a takedown. Kowski pushes Worthington against the cage but Worthington circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Worthington throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Worthington throws the left hand but Kowski avoids the punch easily.
Worthington cracks Kowski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Worthington lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kowski at a distance.

Worthington lands a nice hook to Kowski's body. Kowski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Warren Worthington is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Kowski looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kowski throwing shots but Worthington is blocking nicely.
Kowski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Worthington regains full guard. Nicely done.
Worthington looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Worthington bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kowski's guard.
Kowski striking off his back but it's not causing Worthington any problems.
Kowski is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Worthington is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kowski's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kowski's back!
Worthington throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Kowski!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Worthington.

Kowski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Worthington as he jumps to the side.
A jab from Worthington finds it's way through Kowski's defenses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Worthington's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kowski under the eye.
Worthington wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kowski misses with a hook
and Worthington counters with a lovely straight right hand!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kowski's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Worthington connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kowski scrambles back to his feet.

Worthington will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kowski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Worthington's waist but Worthington gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kowski off to one side.
Worthington stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Worthington wants it to stay on the feet.
Worthington listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Worthington punishes Kowski's body with a nice straight punch.
Worthington drops Kowski with a huge uppercut! Kowski drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Worthington is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
