Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roland Deschain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deschain comes to the cage accompanied by Giving In-- As made famous by Adema. Reed is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Jean Baptiste Lully - Marche Royale. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roland Deschain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oliver Reed!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reed misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Deschain lands with a hook. Reed tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.


It looks like Oliver Reed has been cut.
Oliver Reed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reed misses with an uppercut. Deschain saw that one coming.
Reed misses with a jab, cross combination.
Reed dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Reed slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Reed fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Deschain is out of range.

Reed gets caught flat footed, as Deschain shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Reed really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deschain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

No joy there for Deschain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Reed feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Deschain's calf.

Reed scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Reed misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Deschain.
Reed takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Reed pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reed drops his hands momentarily and Deschain takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Deschain throws a shot from downtown. Reed moves away and avoids it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Deschain looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Good leg kick by Reed there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
