Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cardoso rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Breivik moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Cardoso throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Breivik tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cardoso is in Breivik's guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Cardoso stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Breivik swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cardoso has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Breivik is proving hard to escape from.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Breivik manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cardoso manages to get himself to full guard.
Breivik is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Breivik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cardoso. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Breivik seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Breivik looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Cardoso with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
