Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abraham Sedano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Coke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Coke will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Abraham Sedano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Coke!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sedano shoots in for a double leg but Coke sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Coke stuffs the takedown attempt from Sedano. Sedano gets slowly back to his feet.

Sedano feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Sedano is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Coke looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sedano accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Coke can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sedano controls the pace.

Coke is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Coke is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sedano defends well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Coke is looking for a triangle but Sedano pushes his legs off easily.
Sedano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coke swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sedano sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coke's guard.
Sedano thows a huge punch but Coke dodges it nicely.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sedano's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Sedano has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sedano shoots in looking for a takedown. Coke tries to sprawl out of it but Sedano keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Coke manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Coke defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sedano.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sedano is defended easily by Coke.
Abraham Sedano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sedano shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coke but Coke pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Coke will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coke bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Sedano's guard.

Coke slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Coke is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sedano is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Coke is looking for a kimura but Sedano is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Coke to get the leverage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sedano lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
Sedano is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coke's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coke's back!

A close second round but Jack Coke will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Coke is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Sedano slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Sedano works over Coke with some ground and pound from guard.
Sedano connects with a couple of short punches.
Coke wants to stand up but Sedano is controlling him.

Sedano avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Coke has his foot on Sedano's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sedano works his way back into a safe position though.

Coke is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sedano is aware though and is defending well.

Coke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sedano doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Coke is tightening it up a little... Sedano has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sedano reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sedano taps out! Nice BJJ there by Coke!
