Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Degrizz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Knockout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jim Degrizz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oscar Knockout!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Donatello Bradman and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling eachother endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Knockout pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Degrizz just misses with a punch to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A looping hook to the body misses from Degrizz. Knockout does a little dance to reset his feet.
Degrizz throws a lazy right hand but Knockout sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Degrizz tries a head kick but it misses.
Knockout throws a lazy uppercut
and Degrizz counters with a three punch combo that has Knockout backing up. Knockout nods at Degrizz to acknowledge the strikes.
Knockout throws a big shot that misses.

Knockout lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Degrizz at a distance.
A head kick misses from Degrizz.
Degrizz looks to score with a jab to the body but Knockout is just out of range.
Knockout gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.


It looks like Oscar Knockout has been cut.

A combination from Degrizz does no damage.
Knockout avoids the head kick by Degrizz.
The crowd cheers as Degrizz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Knockout doesn't seem phased though.

A shot to the liver by Degrizz. Beautiful body shot.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Degrizz.
Knockout throws a looping overhand right but Degrizz ducks down to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Knockout attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Degrizz throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Knockout wants to slow Degrizz down by chopping away at his legs.
Degrizz misses with a two punch combination.
Degrizz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Knockout keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Degrizz throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Knockout on the side of the head.

Degrizz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Knockout misses with a hook. Degrizz ducked under it nicely.

Knockout swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Degrizz connects with a nice looking jab.
A left lands for Knockout.

Knockout connects with a high kick.
Knockout uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Degrizz.
A punch combination from Degrizz misses.

Knockout misses with a looping left.
Knockout blocks a head kick by Degrizz.
Knockout throws a hook but Degrizz avoids it easily.
Degrizz tries to bum rush Knockout with a series of wild strikes but Knockout uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Knockout lands with an overhand left.
Knockout throws a right hand that misses
and Degrizz counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Degrizz scores with a punch to the head.
Degrizz throws a hook to the side of Knockout's head but Knockout sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jim Degrizz showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Degrizz has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
