Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Masamichi Yamaji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eryk Kafok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eryk Kafok!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kafok misses with a hook. Yamaji ducked under it nicely.
Good leg kick by Yamaji there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kafok on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A slow jab from Kafok misses its intended target.
Kafok ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yamaji moves away.
Yamaji swats away the attempt to clinch by Kafok.
Yamaji feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kafok's calf.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A telegraphed right hand from Kafok misses the target.
Kafok stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yamaji.
Kafok looks winded!
A chopping leg kick lands by Yamaji.
Yamaji scores with a kick to the body.

Yamaji drops Kafok with a beautiful combination! Kafok stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Yamaji is looking for the KO!

It looks like Eryk Kafok has been cut.
Yamaji scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kafok doesn't seem bothered though.
Yamaji throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Yamaji lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Kafok up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Yamaji from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Kafok's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Masamichi Yamaji!
After the fight, Masamichi Yamaji was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
