The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amah has his foot on Melcher's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Melcher works his way back into a safe position though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Melcher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Melcher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Melcher takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Melcher is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Amah doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Melcher.

Oh but Amah is tightening it up a little... Melcher has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Melcher reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Melcher taps out! Nice BJJ there by Amah!
