The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Unit misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Santucho.
Santucho attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Santucho ducks under a wild hook from Unit.

Santucho throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Santucho will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

A nice right hand lands inside from Unit.
Unit is leaning against Santucho and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Unit lands a hook to the side of the head.
Unit pushes Santucho back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Santucho prevents a body shot from Unit.

Unit drops Santucho with a big right hand! Unit charges in looking to finish - Santucho manages to keep Unit in his guard and seems to have recovered somewhat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Unit makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Unit pushes down on Santucho's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Santucho is trying to maintain the position but Unit is very close to passing his half guard.
Unit uses his free foot to push down on Santucho's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Santucho.
Santucho is trying desperately to improve position.
Unit trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Unit Throws a clean left jab. Unit Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Santucho's chin! Santucho crumbles to the ground and Unit follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Unit!
