Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Iwan Matwijenko!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Requina pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Requina is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Matwijenko.
Matwijenko takes a jab right on the kisser.
Requina circles away from the clinch attempt.
Requina throws a lazy uppercut
and Matwijenko counters with a thumping low kick.
Matwijenko looks to score with a jab to the body but Requina is just out of range.
Requina scores with a body shot.
Matwijenko checks a low kick from Requina.
Jomar Requina seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Requina tries a head kick but it misses.
Requina throws a lazy uppercut
and Matwijenko counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Requina throws a leg kick
and Matwijenko counters with a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matwijenko tries to clinch up but Requina circles away and keeps his distance.
Requina tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Matwijenko is able to avoid easily.
Matwijenko tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Requina lands a leg kick that knocks Matwijenko off balance momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Matwijenko scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Requina shoots in looking for a takedown but Matwijenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Requina's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Matwijenko staying out of range there.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Requina, as that shot connected.
Matwijenko defending well as Requina loads up on a big left hand.
A shot to the liver by Requina. Beautiful body shot.
Iwan Matwijenko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Matwijenko throws a low kick but Requina moves out of range easily.
Sloppy strikes from Matwijenko. Those never looked like landing.
Requina will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Matwijenko tries to clinch but Requina moves away
and Requina counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Matwijenko fails with an attempt to clinch.
Matwijenko blocks the body kick.

Requina scores with a push kick.
Requina uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Requina misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Requina throws a nice looking combination but Matwijenko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Matwijenko misses with a two punch combination.
Matwijenko walks into a left hand.
Matwijenko ducks under a wild hook from Requina.
Matwijenko avoids the body shot from Requina.
Requina throws a body punch but Matwijenko moves out of range.
Requina lands with a kick to the ribs.
Matwijenko is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Requina moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
