The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber gets a double leg takedown into Etherton's guard.
Etherton looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Faber postures up in Etherton's guard and throws a big left but Etherton blocks it.

Faber seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Etherton for as long as he can get away with.
Faber postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Faber makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
