The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cranswick throws a right and a left that both miss.
Vega throws a front kick aimed at Cranswick's knee but Cranswick avoids it well.

Cranswick scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Vega doesn't seem bothered though.
Cranswick moves out of range as Vega throws a body kick.
Cranswick lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vega circles away quickly and effectively.
Cranswick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cranswick tries to bum rush Vega with a series of wild strikes but Vega uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vega avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cranswick swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Vega has a takedown stuffed.

Cranswick lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cranswick.

Vega tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Cranswick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Vega moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Vega shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Cranswick is trying to stand.
Vega moves nicely into side control.
Vega is trying to ground and pound but Cranswick uses the momentary lack of control by Vega to regain half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Vega is keen to just control but Cranswick is a slippery customer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Vega has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cranswick defend it? Vega steps over the head and cranks it - Cranswick is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Vega!
