Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Yossarian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kato scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Yossarian is fighting to break Kato's control of his arms but Kato is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Kato lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Yossarian will probably get the nod.

Kato jabs Yossarian to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Yossarian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kato tries to avoid it but Yossarian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kato to the ground. Kato escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Yossarian.

Yossarian shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kato as he avoids it easily.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Yossarian.

I would just about give that final round to Kenji Kato.
I think Kato has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
