The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mageramsky closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Roode to the mat! Roode manages to get full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Roode looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Mageramsky postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Roode is looking for a triangle but Mageramsky pushes his legs off easily.
Mageramsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Roode is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mageramsky advances position into side control!
Mageramsky grinds an elbow into Roode's temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mageramsky cracks Roode with a big elbow.
Roode tries to bench press Mageramsky off him but Mageramsky keeps the position.
Mageramsky is looking to take a break and control but Roode is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Roode is working to avoid the ground and pound but Mageramsky connects with a decent elbow.
Mageramsky lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Roode down.
Mageramsky lands a few punches from side control.

Roode is rocked!
Mageramsky in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Roode looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Mageramsky turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
