The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ola fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Garnett ducks right into an uppercut from Ola.
A telegraphed right hand from Garnett misses the target.
The crowd cheers as Garnett lands an impressive looking overhand right. Ola doesn't seem phased though.
Garnett swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ola lunges at Garnett with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Garnett's hand.
Nic Ola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garnett with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ola to score with a decent uppercut.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ola accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

and Garnett counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Ola cracks Garnett with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ola fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Garnett manages to avoid it.

Garnett gets caught napping as Ola dives in and scores a takedown. Garnett manages to retain guard.
