Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lionel Cascara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clubber Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cascara takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Cascara lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lang wants to slow Cascara down by chopping away at his legs.
Lang lands a leg kick that knocks Cascara off balance momentarily.
Cascara avoids the body shot from Lang.
Cascara tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Lang counters with a thumping low kick.

Lang bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Cascara's head backwards.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cascara is defended easily by Lang.
Cascara tries to close the distance and clinch but Lang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cascara dives in and grabs Lang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lang pushes down on Cascara's head and hops out.

Lang cracks Cascara with a right hand to the side of the head.
Clubber Lang seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Cascara tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Good leg kick by Lang there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

and Lang makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

and Cascara counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Lang!
Cascara wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lang, who protects the arm well.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cascara remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Cascara is looking to take a break and control but Lang is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lang wants to get back to his feet.
Lang keeps Cascara under control for a moment.
Cascara misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
